However, the fatigue and mistakes in arrangements when traveling independently using various public transportation are almost inevitable. This group basically arranged as many free activities as possible within a limited time, allowing us to feel the beauty of Switzerland by walking in various cities. Although the itinerary may be a bit of a whirlwind tour, for tourists, it is really a must-see attraction, especially the addition of a stop in Geneva in the middle, which fulfilled my dream of seeing the flower clock.
After getting on the train at Frankfurt Railway Station on the first day, although the journey was long, there were several rest stops beside the highway, where you could get off the train for a while and take a breath. (Ps: The fried pork chops at the rest stop are as delicious as the fried pork chops in Vienna. If you are tired of Burger King, you can choose this.) The tour guide also introduced it to everyone for a long time on the road, and mentioned the next itinerary, the customs and practices of Switzerland, and some historical stories. After arriving in Zurich, the sun was just right. We were tired of visiting churches in Europe, so we didn't go to Zurich Cathedral. We took a lot of photos by the river and lake, and took photos with swans. The water is really very clear, which is also my biggest feeling on the way. There is a restaurant in the hotel at night. Although the dinner is a bit expensive, it is super delicious!!! The spare ribs taste like braised pork! I ate it for two nights in a row.
The breakfast on the second day was also very good. I went to the capital first, saw the bears, watched the clock performance, and bought fruits at the small market. Although it was a free activity, the tour guide gave a detailed time point, and successfully saw the little golden man ringing the bell. When I arrived in Geneva, the sun was shining, and I took a photo with the super tall fountain and the flower clock. I have to say that every city in Switzerland is beautiful, and the names of lakes and mountains are not wrong, but as for the lake, it is sparkling, the water is clear, and swans are dotted in it. You can even see the underwater rocks on the shore.
The third day is the Jungfrau, which I am most looking forward to! The tour guide told us the temperature in advance, so I went up the mountain in a short-sleeved skirt + down jacket. This is really a great combination, because it is not cold at all outdoors, and you can take pictures in a short skirt, while the indoor ice palace and corridor are really cold places. Two hours was just enough time to have fun. I took a lot of interesting photos. Although it took two hours to go up and down the mountain, the mountain scenery was beautiful. I took photos all the way and time flew by.
The waterfall on the last morning was the most shocking. If the Jungfrau is a static beauty, then the waterfall is a dynamic beauty. The waterfall is not high, but it is very wide and flows continuously. It made me feel the awe of the power of nature again.
I also bought earrings made of Swiss stones in a small handmade shop in Lucerne. They are not expensive, but in my heart they are the style of Switzerland. Clear, firm and beautiful.
