From July 6 to July 12, I followed the tour guides Wang Changkai (July 6) and Yu Chao (July 7-July 12) to complete the 7-day tour of the Spanish-Portuguese circuit. The next day, the tour guide Yu Chao picked us up in Barcelona. When I first saw Brother Yu, I thought he was a very ordinary person. Brother Yu’s self-introduction after getting on the bus did not leave me with a deep impression of him. But when we arrived at the attractions in Barcelona, Brother Yu began to talk endlessly, covering all aspects, starting from Casa Mila and Sagrada Familia, and went around all the way to Madrid. Brother Yu knew everything about the local customs and humanities along the way. Brother Yu could even tell us a thing or two about the crop growth period and market conditions of the plantations along the highway. Brother Yu was also very humorous, and everything he said was very interesting.
When we were halfway through the journey, that is, when we arrived in Sevilla, some people started complaining about the bad food. I was very dismissive of this. Every time, Brother Yu recommended us where there were delicious food nearby, including Western and Chinese food, and also posted the location in the group. As long as you are willing to find it, the food will not go away. You can't let the tour guide deliver the food to the door door by door, right? In the past 7 days, I have gained 2 kilograms. It's all because the places recommended by Brother Yu are too delicious. I can't control myself when I eat.
We experienced some unfriendly things when we arrived in Lisbon. When we stopped at the Jerome Monastery and prepared to get off, two gypsy women blocked our car door. Every tourist who got off the car sold their things and asked one by one like a ticket inspector, which seriously affected our getting off and gathering. Brother Yu stood in front of the gypsies to let us get off the group quickly, but the gypsies started to attack him personally. Brother Yu only said "leave our bus" the whole time, and the gypsies' insults to Brother Yu were unbearable to hear. I saw Brother Yu pursed his lips and was full of anger, but because of his duty, he showed great restraint and didn't say a word. Brother Yu ignored them and started to tell us about precautions. The gypsies also joined the team and pointed at Brother Yu's face and cursed. Later, they started racial discrimination and cursed all the Chinese in the car. I couldn't hold back and started to fight with the gypsies. I kept scolding them until the gypsies left. When they left, Brother Yu took their photos and went to find the police.
After that, when everyone dispersed and moved freely, I saw the gypsies staring at me, and I was still a little scared, but when I turned around, I saw Brother Yu following me and leaving those gypsies alone, and I was very moved. After leaving the monastery, Brother Yu also followed us to the restaurant, and the two of us even had Brother Yu's afternoon tea.
On the last day in Madrid, Brother Yu repeatedly warned us to beware of thieves, but some people were still not careful and were almost stolen. When Brother Yu was leading the team at the front, he passed by a person and said, "Be careful of this person, he is a thief." Later, he was worried about the people behind the team, so he ran over and saw the thief preparing to steal. Brother Yu shouted and stopped the thief in time. Everyone looked at Brother Yu with 666 eyes all the way. Later, Brother Yu said that he had led hundreds of teams and had seen a lot. He could recognize who the thief was at a glance. All the teams he led from two years ago to now have never been stolen, which is also very impressive.
When I returned home and sorted out the photos after the trip, I was thinking that the beautiful scenery is fixed. If you know the stories and backgrounds related to it, you will truly feel the beauty of those buildings and monuments. If there is no all-round 360° introduction from Brother Yu, it is estimated that it will be like a headless fly, punching in, taking pictures, and leaving.
I am really happy to meet Brother Yu Chao on this trip.
So, my rating is not to deduct one star because I am not satisfied with Brother Wang Changkai or the driver, hotel and car, but I just want to give five stars to Brother Yu Chao alone.
