He explained a lot of things about ideology to us during the car journey, which is very educational. 3. The arrangement of the hotel is generally OK. 4. Self-funded projects: This must be mentioned. There are problems with the charges for self-funded projects. For example, when we were in Prague with a group, the recommended self-funded project was pork elbow or pork chop for dinner plus a glass of beer, which charged us 20 euros, equivalent to RMB 130. When my husband and I returned to Prague to start a self-guided tour after the group, we went to that restaurant again. The same dish only charged us 240 Czech crowns, equivalent to RMB 60. The tour guide charged more than double the price. This is because we happened to go again and there is a clear comparison. Other self-funded projects, such as Chinese food, are 10 euros per person, but there are only 6 dishes, of which only 2 are meat dishes, which should also have the problem of high charges. Please ask the travel agency to restrict this. I believe this is not a personal problem of the tour guide, but the travel agency attracts us by giving us a discount on the group fee, and uses self-funded projects to appropriately supplement the income of the tour guide and driver.
